June update: Heroic Chancellor and Healthcare in Ireland and Britain from 1850

June has seen the publication of two more titles from the Institute of Historical Research.

David Cannadine takes an intimate look at Winston Churchill's attitude and lifelong engagement with higher education in Heroic Chancellor: Winston Churchill and the University of Bristol 1929–65.

Healthcare in Ireland and Britain from 1850, edited by Donnacha Seán Lucey and Virginia Crossman, considers the significant history of voluntarism in healthcare and explores varied examples of regional and local healthcare provisioning from the late-nineteenth and into the twentieth-century.

The Humanities Digital Library has seen almost 5,000 ebook downloads in its first months - on average almost 650 downloads per title. This has brought new interest to previously published titles and additional readers to new titles in our law series from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies.

More titles to be announced shortly.
